Glacier Insulation was the third company owned and created by Michael Holmquist a Licensed General Contractor, Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator, carpenter and insulation specialist. In previous years Michael was also a Private General Pest Control Operator, Wood destroying organism inspector, Crawlspace and attic restoration expert, and dive certified aquatic wildlife repair technician amongst many other qualifacations.
After the successful launch of one of our other companies , Animal Evictor - a nuisance wildlife control company specializing in urban wildlife removal and a wide range of damage repairs including attic and crawlspace cleanouts, carpentry work, masonry repair, sump pump installations. We were overwhelmed with the demand of our clients with insulation removal and replacement needs do to our ability to remove replace and clean insulation in attics and crawlspace throughout western Washington the other companies were not qualified to or willing to handle. Even our local competitors call us for help from time to time because there technicians refuse to go into a crawlspace due to contamination levels or animals inhabiting the spaces above and below homes. In order to keep up with the demand of these service needs the decision was made to branch out into the insulation business entirely and launch Glacier Insulation - General contracting & Insulation Specialists.
The transition from Animal Evictors Repair and Insulation Division over to Glacier Insulation was simple because we already had in place the best most knowledgeable insulation install and crawlspace cleaning crew in western Washington on hand to answer the needs of our growing client base.
